Mr. Elliott has been engaged in the general practice of law since 1978, with significant emphasis in the following areas: Residential and Commercial Real Estate; Real Estate Title Insurance; Commercial Law and Litigation; Uniform Commercial Code; Municipal Law; Zoning, Planning and Land Use and Litigation; Civil Litigation; Civil Rights; Trusts and Estates; and Wills.

Mr. Elliott was the Solicitor for the Township of Bethlehem and the Bethlehem Township Planning Commission from 1990-2009 in charge of all their legal affairs.  He was a member of the Bethlehem Township Planning Commission from 1989-1990.

Active in politics, Mr. Elliott was the Chairman of the Northampton County Democratic Committee from 1994-1998, and a member of the Northampton County Democratic Executive Committee from 1998-2002.  In 1972 he was elected in the 18th Senatorial District of Pennsylvania to attend the Democratic National Convention.
